    $30.00 per occurrence. These are personal checks cashed at a teller window that overdraw the checking account and the checking account doesn’t have automatic Overdraft Transfer Protection.

    Service provided upon member request to transfer from designated shares or lines of credit at the time of overdraft with no fee. Inquire for more information.

  • Grace Period for Purchases

    You have one billing cycle (average 30 days) from the closing date of the statement to repay your balance for purchases before being charged a finance charge.

The following applies to all checking accounts:

Checking accounts must remain open all month to earn dividends for the month. If the stated minimum balance is not met for a day, dividends will not be earned for that day. Business Plus Checking accounts must remain open all month to earn dividends for the month. If the stated minimum balance is not met for the day, dividends will not be earned for the month.

The following applies to all savings and certificates:

Regulation D: We are required to limit the following types of transfers from accounts to no more than six transfers per month: All preauthorized transfers to another account or to a third party (excluding transfers for payments or routine allocations of direct payroll deposit to your other accounts or family member accounts); and telephone transfers to another account or third party. If you exceed the transfer limitation your account may be subject to a suspension or closure.

The following applies to all accounts:

Each multiple account owner is jointly and severally liable to the credit union for any returned item, overdraft, or unpaid amount regardless of who benefited from the transaction. Account holders agree that any overdraft will be subject to conditions of the Uniform Commercial Code and applicable state law.

Any questions or objections concerning any item shown on a periodic statement shall be waived unless made in writing to the credit union on or before the twentieth day following the day the statement is mailed. Your right to dispute a forged item drawn on your account and paid by the credit union is waived if there is any negligence on your part in the handling of access devices related to the account.

Foreign Transactions

Purchases and cash advances made in foreign countries will be billed to you in U.S. dollars. The currency conversion rate for international transactions as established by Visa International, Inc. is a rate selected by Visa from the range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date, which rate may vary from the rate Visa itself receives, or the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date. In addition, you will be charged a foreign transaction fee of 1% of the transaction amount for any card transaction made in a foreign country.

Notice Under the U.S.A. Patriot Act

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We also may ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying objects.

This fee schedule outlines the conditions, fees, and charges applicable to your accounts at Fibre Federal Credit Union. The credit union may offer other accounts, or amend the fees contained in this schedule from time to time. Each account holder agrees to the terms set forth in this schedule and acknowledges that it is part of the Membership Account Agreement.
